Lexend Exa occupies a middle-wide position in the Lexend width spectrum, making it useful for readers who need slightly more lateral space between characters to process text comfortably. It retains the same neutral, approachable personality as Deca and suits educational platforms, accessibility-conscious web copy, and UI contexts where a touch more breathing room is desirable. Nine weights provide practical flexibility.
Classification
Lexend Exa sits one step wider than Deca in the Lexend series, with slightly increased letter width intended to further reduce inter-letter crowding. The additional width maintains the same clean, open construction shared across the family.
