Noto Sans Nushu
Google Fonts · Google · 2019

A culturally significant addition to the Noto family, providing the only widely available digital typeface for Nushu, the world's only known script created and used exclusively by women.
About
Nushu was used for centuries by women in Jiangyong County, Hunan, to communicate outside the male-dominated literary tradition, and was encoded in Unicode in 2017. Noto Sans Nushu makes this fragile heritage accessible in digital form, serving researchers, cultural institutions, and communities working to preserve the script. As with all Noto fonts, its single weight and neutral design prioritise faithful rendering over typographic flourish.
Classification
Supports Nushu, a unique syllabic script historically used exclusively by women in Hunan province, China, representing a rare example of a gender-specific writing system. A single Regular weight is appropriate for its specialist scholarly and cultural audience.
