Staatliches is an aggressively condensed all-caps display face that packs enormous typographic punch into a narrow column.

Its extreme vertical proportions make it ideal for posters, banners, and editorial headlines where space is limited but impact is essential. The uniform stroke weight and tight letter spacing give it a mechanical, almost industrial quality. Best used at large sizes; it loses legibility quickly at text sizes.
