Vidaloka's dramatic stroke contrast and delicate hairlines give it a sophisticated, fashion-forward quality suited to editorial headlines, luxury branding, and poster typography. It performs best at large sizes where its fine details can be appreciated; the hairlines are too fragile for body text at small sizes. It occupies similar territory to Playfair Display but with a slightly more restrained personality.
