displaygeometric industrialitalic
MSCHN specimen from Gradient

A geometric display typeface drawn from industrial signage, with sturdy letterforms softened at the inner corners and an italic cut that twists forms as if subjected to mechanical force.

About

The upright styles take their cue from factory-floor lettering and metal signage, using geometric construction with soft inner corners that suggest wear and age rather than pristine draftsmanship. The five weights run from XS to XL, each with a matching italic that abandons conventional slanting in favour of organically rotated and distorted forms. That contrast between the controlled rigidity of the uprights and the wilful strangeness of the italics gives the family its expressive range.

Classification

Built on a geometric foundation with mechanical precision and sturdy letterforms drawn from factory signage and industrial typography; the expressive, physically distorted italics push it firmly into display territory rather than neutral geometric sans.
