Grilli describe the idiosyncratic features of electromechanical typesetting as guiding principles along a tone axis, with Mono, Semi and Poly each carrying that logic at different scales. Seven weights from Thin to Black come with Obliques in each cut, useful for editorial, technical and product UI work where you want a measured mechanical voice.
