About

A contemporary serif by Dominik Huber, Marc Kappeler (Moiré) and Noël Leu, released in 2013 and offered in 30 styles. Grilli pair broad-nib calligraphy with scalpel sharpness, and the family has expanded from its origins on Reportagen magazine into GT Sectra, Fine and Display subfamilies, with Cyrillic, Greek and Vietnamese script extensions consulted on by Maria Doreuli, Vassilis Georgiou and Donny Trương.

Classification

Grilli describe it as combining the calligraphy of the broad nib pen with the sharpness of the scalpel knife. Originally designed for the long-form magazine Reportagen and expanded into three subfamilies.
