Porte Neue
Groteskly Yours · Eugene Tantsurin, Anna Remm · 2025

A high-contrast display sans drawn from Eastern European stone-carved plaques, updated from the original 2019 Porte with expanded language support and a variable font.
About
Inspired by the incised letterforms of stone plaques, Porte Neue uses sharp contrast within a sans-serif structure to produce a typeface suited to luxury branding and editorial headlines. The family runs across six weights from Thin to Bold, plus a variable font, and covers over 200 languages across Latin and Cyrillic scripts. Alternate narrow characters and extensive OpenType features round out a family positioned at the refined end of display typography.
Classification
A sans-serif with sharp, high contrast inspired by stone-carved letterforms, positioned as a display face for branding and editorial headlines rather than continuous text.
