About
Drawing primarily on Textura Quadrata with Fraktur influence in the uppercase, Cloisterfuch pushes the varying pen angles and waisted strokes of calligraphic scripts to an expressive extreme. The result is a chunky, striking display face with pendulous Schnorkels on the majuscules, wedge-shaped ink traps on the r, c and t, and a letter spacing that maintains a dark but balanced page colour. Named one of Typographica's Favourite Typefaces of 2019, it comes with Latin Plus language support, OpenType features including historical forms, oldstyle figures, swash caps and standard and discretionary ligatures.
