About
A slab-serif family by Andy Clymer, Jonathan Hoefler and Sara Soskolne that takes the voice of typewriting and rebuilds it as a full typographic system. The primary Operator family is proportional, allowing letters to take their natural widths, while Operator Mono is a fixed-width companion for programming environments and any setting that needs a true monospace. Both run across multiple weights with matching italics, and a ScreenSmart cut is provided for small-size screen work. Reach for it on editorial features, charitable appeals and corporate communications that want the earnestness of a typewritten letter, and on code editors that want a typewriter feel with real weight range.
