Menoe Grotesque specimen from Hungarumlaut

A monospaced grotesque drawn from the proportions of a Continental typewriter, set at a strict 10-pitch spacing across Latin, Greek and Cyrillic scripts.

About

Adam Katyi analysed the serif typeface of an old Continental typewriter and redrew it without serifs, preserving the 10-pitch spacing convention where ten characters at 12pt measure exactly one inch. All characters share an identical bounding box width, making it well suited to code, tabular data and columnar text. Script coverage spans 86 languages across Latin, Greek and Cyrillic, included at no extra cost.

Classification

A monospaced, sans-serif typeface derived from typewriter conventions, specifically a 10-pitch spacing model. The absence of serifs and even character width place it firmly in the monospaced grotesque category.
