Uborka Mono
Hungarumlaut · Adam Katyi · 2020

A high-contrast monospace serif by Adam Katyi, derived from Amen Display Medium and built to a strict 10-pitch specification.
About
Rounded stem beginnings and endings give this single-weight monospace serif a distinctly calligraphic texture, a direct result of translating the thick strokes of Amen Display Medium through a pointed-pen logic. Its fixed 10-pitch spacing means ten characters at 12pt measure exactly one inch wide, making it interchangeable with Hungarumlaut's other 10-pitch families, Menoe Grotesque and the forthcoming Ebuk Mono. Language coverage spans Basic Latin through to Turkish and several Central and Eastern European scripts.
Classification
A monospaced typeface with high-contrast serifs derived from Amen Display Medium, with rounded stem terminals drawn from pointed-pen technique. Classified as mono due to its fixed 10-pitch spacing and explicit monospace design intent.
