Part of the Hurme FIN 1a system, this Narrow variant offers eight weights from Hairline to Black, each with a matching optically adjusted oblique, giving 16 styles in total. The design features horizontal stroke terminals, short ascenders and descenders, and an x-height that increases proportionally as widths narrow. An alternate character set, FIN 1b, is included free of charge and introduces angular, monospace-inspired letterforms with slab serifs.
Classification
Described by the foundry as a simplified monolinear sans-serif with horizontal stroke terminals, placing it squarely in the grotesque tradition. The monolinear stroke construction and large compressed-to-expanded design space reinforce this classification.
