monomonospaced sans-serifmono
Hurme FIN Mono 1b specimen from Hurme Design

A monolinear monospaced sans in seven weights with obliques, offered as an alternate character-set variant to FIN Mono 1a.

About

Horizontal stroke terminals and shortened ascenders and descenders give this family a tight, technical character suited to interfaces and data-heavy contexts. The 1b designation refers to a different default character set from FIN Mono 1a, with the remaining characters accessible via OpenType stylistic sets; purchasing 1b includes matching weights of 1a at no extra cost. Fourteen styles in total cover Thin through Black with corresponding obliques, and OpenType support extends to fractions, ordinals, discretionary ligatures and a slashed zero.

Classification

Explicitly described as monolinear and monospaced, with horizontal stroke terminals and optically adjusted obliques rather than true italics, placing it firmly in the monospaced sans-serif category.
