Designed by Alexander Wright for In-House, Troptical draws on the op-art scene and geometric design traditions of Caracas, using concentric stripes and angular letterforms to generate visual rhythm and movement. The family spans three styles (standard, square and round) across five widths and three weights, with character widths standardised across styles so that mixing and matching produces consistent optical effects. Each style is also available as a variable font, and the glyph set includes Spanish diacritics including the eñe.
