Commissioned for a CAA Friday Night Party invitation with an old Hollywood theme, the typeface takes its name from the silent film era and draws its forms from movie title credits of that period. Despite its origins, it reads equally well in magazines, invitations and premium packaging. Jessica Hische describes it as a supporting-role face, well suited to pairing with custom lettering or another display face rather than carrying a layout alone.
