Designed initially as a secondary support face within a brand identity project, Blackbird Script holds its own as a standalone display typeface. Its strokes are nearly uniform, with gentle undulations appearing near the beginnings and ends of ligatures, counters and cast-offs. The baseline carries a slight bounce, and the face adapts well to all-caps settings with minor manual tracking adjustments.
