Developed over ten years with repeated restarts, Parabolica takes the neo-grotesque genre as its base but reaches toward Matthew Carter's CRT Gothic and Video for its core logic: type that holds up in bad conditions. The Text optical size features squared counters, a larger x-height and looser spacing tuned for small sizes, while the Regular optical size is tighter and more curved for display use. Six weights from Hairline to Black, each with obliques, give the family range for both identity work and editorial settings.
