Originating as a loose interpretation of Granjon's italics, JT Javel expanded into a full text family that balances historical craft with the demands of contemporary print and screen typography. Five weights from Regular to ExtraBold each carry a matching italic, and the family is available as a variable font spanning both weight and optical sizing. OpenType features include swashes, small caps, ligatures and multiple numeral styles for careful typographic control.
