Klim Type Foundry · Kris Sowersby · 2008

A hardworking Dutch-rooted text serif with a large x-height and tight forms, drawn for international editorial setting.
About
A transitional text serif by Kris Sowersby drawing on classic Dutch types by J.F. Rosart and J.M. Fleischman, with a large x-height and slightly condensed forms that fit many words to a column without feeling cramped. Four weights run from Book through Medium and Bold to an emphatic Black, each with a paired italic. Sits well in editorial and longform settings where the serif needs to be economical, legible and quietly characterful at body size.
Classification
Klim classifies it as Modern: Transitional/Realist; a hardworking text serif for the international editorial environment, drawing its economical rigour from classic Dutch typefaces by J.F. Rosart and J.M. Fleischman, with a large x-height and slightly condensed forms.
