Laura Worthington Design · Laura Worthington

A nostalgic script family drawn from early 20th-century cursive handwriting and naval tattoo lettering, bundled with a matching sans, decorative serifs and an extensive ornamental font.
About
The collection spans a connected script in three weights, each loaded with 465 swashes and alternates including ending forms, isolated letters and contextual variants, alongside a three-weight sans and four decorative serif cuts. A separate ornament font, DIY Lines, contributes 250 characters of ships, anchors, rope, botanicals and arrows that share stroke weight and proportions with the type. The pictorial themes and simplified letterforms lean clearly toward vintage Americana and maritime design work.
Classification
The family centres on a connected cursive script inspired by early-to-mid 20th-century handwriting and tattoo lettering, which defines its primary classification; the accompanying sans and decorative serifs are supporting members of the collection.
