Built around the rhythms of flexible-nib pen calligraphy, Harlean uses contextual alternates to generate convincing hand-lettered variation across words. Swashes, stylistic alternates and titling capitals give room for customisation, while ornaments, borders and corner elements extend its usefulness for decorative layout work. The OpenType features are coded to work without professional design software, broadening its accessible appeal.
