Built on the rhythm of the pointed brush, Rosarian moves between thick rounded downstrokes and thin hairlines to produce a fluid, calligraphic feel. Contextual alternates shift letterforms automatically to avoid repetition, while multiple stylistic sets, swashes and unconnected alternates let the script shift between formal and casual registers. The family has been coded so that alternates and ornaments are accessible without specialist design software.
