Voir
Letters from Sweden · Pompe Hedengren, Göran Söderström · 2019

An ultra-thin geometric display typeface built from just two shapes, a circle and a stroke, with an unusually large set of alternates for art direction work.
About
Designed by Swedish art director Pompe Hedengren and type designer Göran Söderström, Voir derives all its glyphs from a geometric circle and a simple stroke combined at unusual angles and proportions. Seven optical weights run from the extreme end of thin, and sixteen stylistic sets give art directors a wide palette of alternates rarely matched at this scale. The result sits somewhere between rigorous geometry and playful personality, making it well suited to editorial and poster contexts where precision and wit can coexist.
Classification
Built from a geometric circle and a simple stroke combined in unusual proportions, Voir is an ultra-thin display typeface with strong optical personality and an extensive alternate system, placing it firmly in the geometric display category.
