Baste comes in two distinct versions: A and B, each evoking a different facet of Marseille and the surrounding region. Version A leans toward the gentler rhythms of the seaside; Version B pulls toward the harder, more abrasive character of a sun-scorched city centre. Both share three weights (Regular, Medium, Black) and a glyph set of 552 characters with OpenType features including stylistic sets, circled numbers and arrows.
