Parade specimen from Lift Type

Ten all-caps typefaces sharing a single underlying structure, each carrying different surface treatments and patterns designed for mixing across posters, titling and brand identities.

About

Originally commissioned for the Design Parade 8 festival branding at Villa Noailles in 2013, Romain Oudin's Parade takes one drawn skeleton and runs it through ten stylistically distinct treatments, from plain geometric cuts to patterned and textured variants. The all-caps family is built explicitly for combination, allowing designers to layer or alternate styles within a single layout to produce a coherent but varied visual rhythm. With 598 glyphs per style and broad Latin language support, it sits comfortably in poster, editorial and identity work where decorative display type is called for.

Classification

A collection of ten stylistically distinct all-caps typefaces sharing the same underlying structure, designed for titling and poster work with decorative pattern and style variations that place it firmly in the display category.
