LL Circular Mono specimen from Lineto

A monospaced adaptation of Laurenz Brunner's geometric sans LL Circular, released in 2019 after a decade of testing to fit fixed-width applications without sacrificing the family's warmth.

About

Where the original LL Circular balanced geometric rigour with warmth, the mono cut preserves x-heights, weights and joints intact while conceding certain signature forms, such as the uppercase O, C and G, to the demands of fixed-width spacing. The result reads with a faintly mechanical quality that suits code editors and technical interfaces without abandoning the considered construction of Brunner's original 2013 release. A careful piece of type engineering that demonstrates how a typeface's character can survive a fundamental structural constraint.

Classification

A monospaced cut of the geometric sans LL Circular, adapted to fixed-width spacing while retaining the circular construction and geometric character of the original family.
