Kronik Grotesk specimen from lo-ol Type

A nine-weight geometric grotesque from Swiss foundry lo-ol Type, blending classical geometric proportions with neo-grotesque rhythm through low connecting strokes and thinned terminals.

About

The third member of lo-ol's Kronik family, drawing structural DNA from its predecessors Antik and Vision. Lowercase letters including a, t, f and y carry thinner terminals, while the connecting strokes in n, m and h drop unusually low, creating an animated cadence across running text. Nine weights from Thin to Black are available as static fonts and a variable file, with an upright-only cut for now and a slanted or script companion planned.

Classification

The foundry describes it as merging traditional geometric sans-serif proportions with a neo-grotesque aesthetic, placing it between those two traditions with low connecting strokes and thinned terminals.
