A geometric sans-serif with a variable emotional axis that shifts letterforms between a cheerful 'Lucky' and a downcast 'Sad' state.
About
Faro is built around a concept of typographic mood: its variable font includes both a weight axis from Light to Bold and a second axis that morphs the letterforms between Lucky and Sad expressions. Faro Display is offered as a separate variable font with the same emotional axis, suited to headline use. The family covers a broad Latin character set and has been used in brand identity work for Blasercafé and the Hackney Forest School, among others.
Classification
Faro is a geometric sans-serif with a distinctive expressive axis running between two emotional states, Lucky and Sad, built on clean, constructed letterforms across a range of weights.
