Part of the broader Messina family alongside a sans and a serif, Messina Modern takes its cues from early slab serif typography, pairing strong visual structure with refined stroke weight. Six weights from Thin to Bold are available as static OTF files or as two variable fonts covering the upright and italic axes. Latin Extended coverage supports a wide range of languages including Vietnamese and many African scripts.
