A humanist pixel typeface originally drawn by Adrian Frutiger in 1979 for Paris CDG airport screens, revived and released by Maxitype in 2025.

About

Teletext was designed by Adrian Frutiger in 1979 for the new Charles de Gaulle Airport departure boards, and remained unpublished for decades. Maxitype's 2025 release brings it to market with four weights, preserving its characteristic pixel-grid construction and humanist proportions. It occupies a rare position as a signed pixel type by one of the twentieth century's foremost type designers.
