About
Owners Text is the small-size sibling of Jeremy Mickel's Owners superfamily, sharing its roots in the International Style vernacular signage of Los Angeles but tuned for comfortable reading at body sizes. Six weights from XLight to Black each carry matching italics, giving twelve styles in total. Stylistic alternates include a schoolbook 'a' and 'y', an alternate Q and dollar sign, and contextual arrows, adding flexibility for editorial and identity contexts.
Classification
Draws from International Style signage vernacular as seen in Los Angeles, with warmth and quirk inherited from handmade letterforms — placing it closer to humanist sans than pure geometric or grotesque.
