Designed by Simon Bent and released in 2024, MT Gertrudes splits across three sub-families sharing common metrics and weights but arriving at markedly different results. Gertrudes A follows conventional geometric sans principles; Gertrudes B occupies a middle ground; Gertrudes C pushes toward harder, more angular letterforms. All three span ten weights from Thin to Heavy, with broad Latin Extended coverage and a full complement of OpenType features.
