Split into two subfamilies, R-I-B-BI Typewriter and R-I-B-BI, the family deploys the canonical Regular, Italic, Bold and Bold Italic across both, each expanded with experimental OpenType functionality. The concept draws on real historical hacks: manuscript touch-ups, mathematical blackboard bolds, underscores used as rules, and faux digital synthesis, treating constraint and approximation as a design method rather than a limitation. Released in 2025 with animation tooling by Wim Wepster, it sits at the intersection of type history and conceptual practice.
