MVB Sirenne
MVB Fonts · Alan Dague-Greene, Mark van Bronkhorst · 2002
A 23-font ornamental display serif in four optical sizes, inspired by an 18th-century Renard natural history publication.
About
MVB Sirenne draws its visual character from an 18th-century publication by Louis Renard, translating an ornate, period sensibility into a multi-size digital family. The four optical variants — named by point size from Text to Seventy-Two — allow each cut to be tuned for its intended scale. Swash italics and small caps round out a family well suited to editorial and book work with historical resonance.
