About
Designed by Cyla Costa, Juma comes in Color and Monochrome variants, each with OpenType alternate sets offering Blue Alternates, Green Alternates, an alternate ampersand and an alternate A. The forms draw on organic references — tropical birds, marble — giving individual letters a sculptural presence suited to drop caps, striking headlines or abstract pattern work. It won Gold at the Latin American Design Awards 2022 and was recognised in the Communication Arts Typography Annual 2022.
