NaN Druid specimen from NaN

A paired serif and sans-serif family by Anna Khorash and Reymund Schröder, rooted in Jenson-adjacent forms and inflected with esoteric ornamental detail across 286 Latin-based languages.

About

Designed collaboratively by Khorash and Schröder and released between 2022 and 2024, the family splits into two branches that share proportions and weights but diverge in contrast: the serif runs lower contrast for text friendliness while the sans runs higher contrast for display work. Both trace back to a humanist skeleton, with the sans showing flared and tapered terminals that give away its calligraphic roots. Glyphs throughout carry hidden figurative references drawn from nature and esoterica, from ampersands to paragraph marks.

Classification

The serif branch is Jenson-adjacent with a hybrid antique-to-slab quality and lower contrast suited to text; the paired sans shares the humanist structure with higher contrast and flared terminals betraying calligraphic origins. The family straddles display and text use across both subfamilies.
