About
Designed by Jérémy Landes between 2016 and 2022 with italic and Cyrillic by Vika Usmanova, Jaune inverts conventional type wisdom by deliberately pushing together anatomical elements that normally require clearance. Maxi is built for headlines with short extenders and extreme weight contrast from Thin to Black; Mini answers at the other end with open counters and deep ink traps for running text; Midi sits between the two as the general-purpose cut. The family covers 339 Latin-based and 16 Cyrillic-based languages.
