An open-source display sans with a hybrid grotesque-humanist construction, funded by the Polkadot treasury and covering over 400 Latin and Cyrillic-based languages.
About
Six display weights from Extra Light to Black, plus a variable font, built around a mix of grotesque and humanist letterforms that coexist with unusual coherence. Chevron-shaped stems on key glyphs such as /B, /E, /a and /d break the regularity of straight stems, while pinched, fish-like counters on bowl letters give the face a distinctly friendly character. Rare attention to under-supported African languages, including the Pan-Nigerian alphabet, extends its utility well beyond the typical Latin and Cyrillic offering.
Classification
A display sans with a hybrid construction mixing grotesque letterforms with humanist details, further distinguished by chevron-shaped stems and pinched counters, placing it between geometric and humanist sans traditions.
