Newglyph · Ian Party

A condensed Swiss modernist grotesque by Ian Party, designed as a tribute to contemporary Swiss poster culture and offered as a large variable family of 180 styles.
About
Inspired by the curated Swiss graphic design archive of Instagram account @SwissPosters, this family was developed in collaboration with Dennis Moya Rafafimandimby. It delivers a condensed grotesque in the Swiss International Style across 180 static styles plus a variable font, with axes controlling width, weight, x-height and italic. Roman and Tall subfamilies each have matching italics, giving the family considerable range for headline and poster work.
Classification
Described explicitly as a condensed version of a Swiss modernist font, placing it firmly in the grotesque sans-serif tradition associated with Swiss International Style typography.
