Released in February 2016, Rubiesque is the sans companion to Rubis, the two families sharing the same underlying skeleton and weight range. The mix of humanist and grotesque references gives the text weights a warmth suited to body copy, while the italics add texture at longer settings. OpenType features include small caps, multiple figure styles, fractions, ordinals and ligatures, with character coverage extending across Central, Eastern and Western European languages.
