Strikt Sans
Nootype · 2020

A grotesque sans with exaggerated closed curves and a sharply angled 30° italic, released by Nootype in 2020.
About
Strikt Sans takes the grotesque tradition and pushes it toward tighter, more enclosed letterforms: G, S and C are fully closed across all styles, giving the family a distinctive density. The italic cuts in at an accentuated 30° angle, producing a stressed, energetic feel rather than a polite slope. Four weights from Regular to Black each have italic companions, and the character set covers Central, Eastern and Western European languages with a full suite of OpenType figure styles and fractions.
Classification
Described explicitly as a grotesque family with low contrast and exaggerated curves; closed apertures on G, S and C reinforce the grotesque classification.
