Ozik specimen from Nuform Type

A four-weight display face with rounded counters and clean-cut terminals, drawn from the lettering on Black Sabbath's Vol. 4 album cover.

About

Built for large settings, Ozik takes its cues from the iconic lettering on Black Sabbath's Vol. 4 record, translating that heavy-metal graphic energy into a usable type family. The four weights run from Regular through to Black, each sharing the same signature rounded counters and crisp terminals that give the face its slightly damaged, geometric character. Best tracked tight and set large in editorial, poster or identity work where a controlled touch of metal is the brief.

Classification

Ozik is a headline display face with rounded counters and clean-cut terminals drawn from album lettering, placing it firmly in the geometric display category rather than any text-oriented classification.
