About
Designed by Cyrus Highsmith and re-released as Dispatch 2 with assistance from Cem Eskinazi, this slab serif takes its cues from the blunt, functional lettering found on engineering drawings, typescript and freight labels. Fifty styles span five widths from Compressed to Wide, each with five weights from Extra Light to Bold and matching italics, covering Latin Extended, Cyrillic and Greek. The result is a workhorse family with enough typographic range to move between text settings and large-scale display work without losing its industrial character.
