A text-optimised companion to Cyrus Highsmith's Scout, tuned for small sizes through increased x-height, open spacing and disambiguating tails on the 'l' and 'a'.
About
Drawn by Cyrus Highsmith in 2016 as a counterpart to his display-oriented Scout sans, Scout Text makes targeted modifications for body text use. The x-height is raised, spacing is opened out, and tails are added to the lowercase 'l' and 'a' to improve legibility at small sizes. Four weights from Light to Black are offered, each with a matching italic.
