OH no Type · James Edmondson

A deliberately uncomfortable display typeface from OH no Type, built across four weights with italics, an oddball Containers dingbat style, and a variable font thrown in.
About
Designed as an exercise in resisting instinct and familiar drawing habits, this typeface sits at the weirder end of OH no Type's catalogue. Four weights run from Light to Black with matching italics, and the Containers style provides stackable dingbats and alternative letterforms for typographic embellishment. Stylistic sets offer heart-dotted i's, alternate narrow and wide forms, and non-lining figures, making it well-suited to packaging, beer labels and editorial work where strangeness is an asset.
Classification
An experimental display typeface with a deliberately unsettling and unconventional design, sitting outside conventional grotesque or humanist classifications. The Containers style and unusual OpenType features push it firmly into display territory.
