Designed by Pablo Cosgaya and based on his earlier Ancha typeface (co-designed with Héctor Gatti), Asap was built specifically for screen and desktop use across eight styles spanning four weights with matching italics. Its defining technical feature is a standardised character width shared across all styles, meaning text lines hold their length when the user switches between Regular, Medium, Semibold and Bold without triggering reflow. Developed with the collaboration of Andrés Torresi, it is a practical choice for interfaces and documents where weight flexibility is needed without layout disruption.
