An evolution of Omnibus-Type's Bahiana, Bahianita introduces lowercase letters to the family while retaining the rustic, wood-carved character of its predecessor. The condensed structure suits headlines and short display text, and OpenType programming prevents repeated identical letters or numerals from appearing consecutively. With 1,234 glyphs, the family covers over 30 Latin-script languages including Vietnamese, Polish and Icelandic.
