Chivo specimen from Omnibus-Type

A neo-grotesque from Omnibus-Type with seven weights and matching italics, spanning body text through heavy display use.

About

Designed by Héctor Gatti, Chivo is Omnibus-Type's first neo-grotesque, built around balanced strokes and a solid construction that keeps it legible at text sizes and punchy at display scale. The Regular weight is suited to long-form reading while the Black pushes towards headlines and banners. Seven weights with matching italics give it enough range for varied typographic hierarchies.

Classification

Omnibus-Type describes Chivo as their first neo-grotesque typeface family, with balanced strokes and solid construction typical of the neo-grotesque genre.
