Designed by Pablo Cosgaya and Nicolás Silva, Jaldi pairs a contemporary Devanagari — its name meaning 'soon' in Hindi — with the Latin of Asap, itself based on the earlier Ancha typeface. The family is built for screen and web use, with a standardised character width across all styles so that lines of text hold their length regardless of weight changes. This fixed-width-per-style approach makes it practical for interfaces where switching type styles mid-flow cannot disturb layout.
